Team TBB's Hiro Nishiushi, currently preparing for Ironman Canada with his wife and teammate Maki this weekend, has shown that he is a true Hero! Despite his home town suffering a huge blow during the earthquake and Tsunami disaster, Hiro and Maki have risen to the challenge and taken their own hardship in stride while raising money and devoting their energy to help others.

In the face of adversity, Hiro has shown his character and is one of the best quality individuals our sport has encountered. When he moves on (hopefully many years hence), Hiro will be remembered as a true gentleman and Samurai of triathlon in Japan.
