The Baylisses are back in action this weekend! They will challenge themselves at Challenge Aarhus. Charlie will be leading the charge as he has been coaching his parents from the pool deck all spring. Based on the speed with he crawls into the pool, he will soon be following in his parents footsteps.
Bella has had some great races in her short time back from having baby Charlie. After some podiums, she is ready to land a win this time. Stephen is equally hungry for a win as he is building momentum this season. When asked, Charlie agreed that they are both looking great and he can't wait to watch them race again.
The course should suit their strengths. A cold swim won't both Bella and Stephen. Once out of the water, they hit a hilly and technical bike that will challenge all the athletes. Then a fast run course awaits them to finish off the event. If the weather is cold and wet, the Baylisses will be ready as that is what they have been facing in Switzerland all June.
Challenge Aarhus have been really helpful and welcoming to both Stephen and I so getting ourselves to Aarhus in Denmark has been made very easy. Stephens parents are coming out to look after Charlie while we race, they will be "pro's" at looking after Charlie at races by the end of the year!"
Stephen is equally ready to get back out and have a solid race. He said, "I am looking forward to racing Challenge Aarhus, it sounds like a good course and it will be good preparation for Challenge Roth in 3 weeks time. Training has been going well I feel I am getting fitter and so it will be nice to test the body in Aarhus."
