the slipping depends on the deepness of the water, the ground and the shoes. Yes we use normal running shoes, clean ones of course and very light if possible. It's important you don't slip or only occasionally, lower the cadence if you can't prevent it with changing the water height and wearing shoes.

Haha, so many suggestions, I will be very busy in London... Maybe I can visit everything while cycling and running -not sure though they accept bikes instead of little dogs on a string at the hippy market transportation is free with the Olympic accreditation, I think. Croydon, well I would only go there to visit the famous Stephen Bayliss If he is not there, no interest

Thanks John, will certainly go and try the places if I find some time! What about other suggestions, what do I need to see, try, visit after the race, anyone? As it's just another race, only with a bit more time in the city than usual afterwards

That was a big weekend of racing for Teamtbb! I think around 9 or 10 Teamtbb athletes were racing, and most of them were on fire even if there are still a few months till Hawaii and Teamtbb is known to improve during the season!! A special congrats to the Ironcouple Stephen and Bella with their two second places, Mathias with the new bike course record and third after injury, MB with the win! Great to see all in such a good shape, looking forward until the team is coming to Leysin!!

Doc was talking the other day about hard swimmers training through injuries. I had a few memories of my own from college with the constant ice flowing and taped to shoulders so everyone left practice looking like a football player post-swim. Then, on cue as I was watching the Aussie swim trials, Eamon Sullivan proved Doc's theory that swimmers are tough nuts. The broadcasters were showing all his injuries over the last 3 years in a diagram. As always, Doc seems to have his hand on the pulse.
Haha MBE, I saw Sullivan as well, not sure about his over 30 cortisone injections, though... I wouldn't want to be him in a few years...

well that is just my "training wetsuit" if you cut arms and legs you get almost as much feeling of the water as without, don't have as much "float benefit" (so you can still swim with pullbuoy) but it still keeps you warm in colder water. So, perfect for training in colder outside pools
