Love reading your blog posts. One of the main reasons I visit TBB site. Come race in Canada.

I read the article on ST but it misses the point. Its not about whether you have mechanical problems in a race, its how you deal with them. In this case, Erika was a superstar.

Its easy to say that you should never have mechanical issues with a mechanical product. The true measure of an athlete and a person however,  is how they deal with a crisis under pressure. Bravo Erika!!

What an awesome story. I don't have kids but very close to friends that do and to their kids. Its very interesting to see how we goal-oriented types want to go from point A to point B with kids, but kids have their own way of doing things and they need to explore.

For example, if parents take the kids to the zoo, they want to see as much as possible, and want their kids to "experience" as much as possible within the allotted time. However, the little kids might just fancy one thing in the zoo and want to spend time on that one item, and it might not even be one of the exhibits. Many adults have a problem with that, and don't have the patience to let the kid go about it his/her way. After all, the trip to the zoo is for them, not the adults.

Doc, wish I had a coach like you back in the day.

Its sad that Canada is now known for our skills in curling and synchronized swimming. Thankfully we also have a great history of successful female triathletes to make up for that. Anyone remember the Puntous twins? Heather, Lori, Lisa, Donna, Sharon, Carol, and looking at the TBB Roster, more to come.

Cervelo-Van is short for Cervelo in Vancouver. I ride their RS, a great bike.

As for your English, what I actually should have said is that you express yourself so very well even in a language that is far from your own. Its a pleasure to read your blog.

Oh, thank you (blush)...
Of course everybody is Hungarian by background, only most of them does not know it Shocked YET.
We are a surviving nation, our country is small (at this moment) but we spreaded out all over the world (like into Canada) and forgetting about our roots? Only the watermelon skills... Wink
Oh, I am behinde with my blogs...I am still waiting for my musa for the next.
I do NOT rearrange the english words, not with purpose, at least. I did not learn English in school, I picked it up by random  Roll Eyes

No one writes as well as Erika. Wongstar is very funny, but Erika is a superstar. I love the way she rearranges the English Language in the best way possible. Absolutely hilarious. Love her cuz I am Hungarian by background, but she has touched a raw nerve commenting on us Canadians and our watermelon picking skills  Smiley

Go Erika!!!!!!
