Have got anything lined up for the up coming season? What is it, seven weeks to IMNZ, are you down for that or is it all a bit of a secret in the pro world? I'm only questioning as I was going to do IMNZ but due to all the bugs going around I lost so much training that I'm now not doing the race but still going out to NZ for the holiday. If Mr and Mrs Bayliss are doing it then we'll take the flags and be your support crew (or at least a bit of it).

That's great news, looking forward to it. I haven't got a Scotland flat, hope that's OK!

I had a bad race last year in NZ and promised myself I'd not do another IM unless I was totally ready for it (I've done half a dozen so no need to prove I can go the distance). Things went wrong for me after supporting at the Ballbuster in the rain. I know rain doesn't give you a cold but I caught something around that time and had to sit a couple of weeks out. After that I was playing catch up and decided NZ wasn't going to be my race. Never mind though, We're still going out to NZ but not taking the bike means we can do the whole tourist thing and not worry about the bike.

Good luck to your both, hope 2009 is every bit as successful as 2008, which I'm sure it will be and more.

I understand about IMNZ for you this year.  Well you will have a great time over there anyway.  Plenty of other races to do later in the year.

A GB flag will do fine  Smiley

Dixie Browns cafe, lake terrace, 11am Friday before the race. Brits are meeting up for a muffin and coffee. We'd be delighted to see you there but equally understand if you can't make it.

Nothing heavy, just coffee and chat.

I set off for NZ tomorrow so won't be around to wish you all the best for the race and the up coming season. I'll be in Taupo shaking my clapper at you and waving the flag. Maybe we'll grab a coffee after the race. If I've got the endurance in me (supporting is seriously hard work) I'll be there from the start until the last finisher. Hopefully the weather will be better this year.

Good luck Stephen and Bella, knock 'em for six.
