Bella, I just wanted to congratulate you on all your recent efforts. I still find it hard to believe that the very same girl that once worked at the Craigendarroch in Ballater is such an inspiration to us all. Your exploits are always highlighted in our very own local newspaper (The Deeside Piper) and it's good to see you doing so well. Keep up the good work David Brand

Hi David
ThankYou for your message! Wow, its been a good while since I worked at the Craigendarroch has'nt it! Although I remember it all pretty well. Did you know me when I was cleaning lodges or pool attending?
Glad the Deeside Piper have been able to keep the Deesider's up to date! Although I know my Mum gets very angry as they often dont report my successes and then, sometimes when they do, they put photos in of me from 100 years ago!! My Mum gets really mad!
Good to hear from you, Bella

Bella, the best way to get journalists to do what you want is to do their work for them - get someone (your manager, your Mum, someone with at least some journalist training to send them a press release after each race win). And if they keep printing an old photo, well send them a new one, but FFS make sure it's got the appropriate copyright release.
Good luck with your new-found fame!

Bella,
Thank you for the reply. I knew you from the pool . . . I worked in the gym. I also met you a couple of times when you worked at the airport. In all honesty I can't remember too much about working there. My highlight was playing squash against Jackie Bird (newsreader) in a squirrel outfit. Oh . . the fond memories.
I can understand your mums frustration . . . . . she must be so proud ! !
Bella, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours, and if you get the chance I would be grateul if you could keep me updated on your successes (as you mentioned the Piper is not always the best at getting it right). I enjoy reading about them and it may even give me the inspiration to start running again (will have to do something now that my footballing days are coming to an end - too many injuries - too old at the tender age of 36).
David

Hi David! I am thinking I know who you are now, ..Are you tall and do you have ginger hair? That squirrel suit has helped me to remember a bit! This website is our Team website and we keep it very up to date. So this is a good place to see what I/we are up too! or www.bellacomerford.com is not bad either! We do always let the Deeside Piper know my results, but often the Logie Coldstone Football match or the Finzean Darts comptetion is more important than my results!

It's all very different to where we are at the moment.
Talking about different worlds. I've been watching the American Football. I like it, it's pretty skillfull and dynamic. Anyway what I find amazing is the stadiums and the crowds for the matches, 90,000 people for a college match! I was telling an american how amazed I was he said "oh yeah, they have 100,000 for some matches and 30year waiting lists to get season tickets."
And I thought that us brits were crazy about there football!

Bella,
I worked with the fella you were thinking of. I was slighter smaller with darker hair. I can't remember his name either . . . I'm on facebook under david brand (living in Drumoak), there are some pictures of my wedding on my page - might help to put a face to name.
Currently in Angola (catching a tan - working as well of course ! ! ! ).

Bella,
I'm on both Bebo and Facebook. I think you just need to go onto the homepage and there should be a search box - just add in David Brand and I will appear somewhere (I think). Don't worry about not finding it - you probably still wont remember me.
Marriage is all good . . . . congratulations ! ! I hope you find the weather okay at your mums - right now I'm freezing having spent 8 days in plus 30 degree temperatures.
