Palatschinken, oh I would love to have some right now. Back in Montreal and Toronto there is a large Hungarian community so you can find it in lots of places but not here in Vancouver. How about some Hideg meggyleves (chilled sour-cherry soup) after a hard workout? Hungarian pastries? I think even Doc might approve  Grin

Confirming Doc's Hungarian Miss Coco dinner experience (as I believe we shared the same dinner), it was a total Godspeed experience.

In same subdue Coco style, underplaying all her abilites "No folks, it's just a simple Hungarian dinner, nothing much...", I guess some of you atheletes recognize her style at the start line underplaying herself, but when the Miss Coco dishes rolled onto the table...

BAMMMM, there it was superdooper!

Remember only thing I could do after the dinner was roll myself down the hills in Leysin back into my chalet. Uphill chalet would have meant sleep outside for a night..hahaha

Was very happy that Fiona was watching Brett all night long and how much he was eating. She missed the Dutch monster making a killing at the Hungarian dinner table and I went below the radar as my wife was back home. Well, below the rade... the Swiss miss very little details in certain cases they realize not to comment on the lost cases.

Miss Coco, can I make a dinner booking with you on Tuesday 23rd June (this year!) in Leysin??

I will bring the wine and the rest I better leave to you  Grin Grin

I guessed it is absolute important to please the bosses  Roll Eyes
The biggest compliment for the cook when the guests are eating like pigs Wink

Oh, my new restaurant has no garden but a magnifient hill view. My windows opening onto our hill reps hill....I will spend my spear time (a what? Huh) with timing fellow buddies laps....to see who is in good shape....then reporting the boss. Grin Shocked

Ok, if I get a day-off on 23rd of June... Cool

How about an Iron Chef type cook-off between Wongstar and Erika? You are both Iron Ladies already!

East vs East!

Just like Zoolander had the Walk-Off Smiley Wongstar can do dishes similar to what the contestants in the Amazing Race recently had to eat in Beijing (street fare)

I would lap her in cooking too Roll Eyes Tongue
And who would be the ref? You? Undecided
Hungary is considered as Mid -east, just the middle of the Globe Roll Eyes
Anyway, Wongstar is busy with flirting the Mickey Mouse...But I guess Mini has some words for this too Grin
