And as you have said doc...  Newton make shoes....for heel strikers....  There is good pic of craig alexender racing in kona with a nice heel strike...those little thingy on the forefoot must help a lot!

I love heel striking in my Newtons.  Wink When I showed the Newton folks my wear pattern at a local race they said everything looked great but I was striking to much on the heel. I said, oh no worries...these are the best shoes for that.  Grin They just looked at me funny.
