Austin has great Tex-Mex.  The riding is so-so if you can get out of town and not be during rush hour.  But outside of those times, it can be tough to find good routes.  Running is good.  Swimming for May has several city pool choices that would probably work.  But the riding is the biggest challenge.  But, Lance does live here, so it can't be all bad!

A 7 day camp in Croydon would be perfect, maybe pre Ironman UK in August.  We could visit a different KFC each night. Smiley

Then the last night we could have kness up in Tiger Tiger then have a punch up Grin

Is Tiger Tiger a pub?, we have one here called "Danger Danger" classic

How about a 7 day "Wind-Camp" down in PE, South Africa?? Seems to be a happy hunting ground for TBB team Members over the last few years??   Smiley

We also have plenty of KFC's and McD's... Only problem for Steven is that we serve our beers chilled..  Huh

Yes Tiger Tiger is bar.

We should do KFC before , then a good bucket of KFC after the punch up.

I prefer a cold beer, but you will only get a warm one in Croydon.

stephen
i been giving this a lot of thought
and
i would suggest we have the bucket before the bar.
as after the bar
we might only be able to have the mash potato and gravy.
but the bottom line
is
thats finger lickin goo too
as alex wuld say
a win win situation  Wink

Tucson is awsome!  plenty of road for riding, running and pools to swim.  And plenty of altitude!

After a 4-year break and disappointing races, I'm giving the ironman dream another go.  I'm signed up to do IM OZ in 2010.  In fact, I'm going on sabbatical from Feb-March to give this ironman thing a real shot.  Please make this camp happen and if it can be in early february or early March, that would be great!  I get the sense that most of us are looking for the true TeamTBB experience.  Anyone who follows this forum knows what Doc is all about, he's a straight shooter.  We don't want a water-downed version of what the team gets, we want the real thing.  The tough love, the epic workouts, the insaneness of it all.  And yes, I know exactly what I'm asking for, bring it on.  I think most of us who want this camp aren't looking for any old camp experience, we want the TeamTBB experience.  Pretty please.
