hey donna, glad to hear your itb snip went well. if you don't do anything stupid i know many friends recovering sooooo fast from this surgery, i had it too, many years ago.
the trick i think is to massage heaps of the hammy, quad, glutes, tfl etc, but don't go near the area cut of course. they seem to stiffen up alot to compensate the surgery and it's this that restricts your range of motion of your knee not that actual itb. i went to this massure after mine and when i left i could bend my knee 400% more and he never went near the area, so then he did same to quite a few others since and he said exact same result.
if this fails, pack the effected area in a bag of cereal Wink

Hey Cam,

Thanks for the words of advice! I do remember you talking about your knee surgery way back when we were training in Oz. And yeah, I'll stock up on extra cereal just in case! Cheesy

Mat, the incision is usually a zigzag or triangle wedge from what I understand. If you take a triangle wedge out of a band, it naturally lengthens. In my case, the bursa underneath was scarred up and rubbing on the bone which caused a bone bruise. So the scarred part of the bursa was taken out as well.

Hey super D,

Hope you are recovering well. Jay told us all how you were a trooper with the surgery, and ready to go out to eat half hour afterwards.  Grin
Take care of yourself, and speedy recovery.
