Rental and Port Macquarie Accomodations

Howdy Ms. Keat, congrats on the recent win.  We talked awhile back about me possibly renting your place on the Gold Coast in March while I'm out there training for IM OZ.  I've nailed the dates down and thought I would check in with you.  It would be March 3-17 and I'm flexible 3-5 days of those dates.  I'm coming from the U.S. so don't know too much about the area so any info much appreciated.  If you can't rent your place, can you point me in the right direction to some rentals?  And finally, I'm starting to deal with accomodations in Port Macquarie for IM OZ.  Can you recommend any places since you've raced there so many times.  Huge thanks Bek!  If there is anything I can do to return the favor, like deliver something to you that you want from the US, let me know.

Hi there yes I do remember! Unfortunatly my mum is actually moving into my unit next week for about 12 months! But good news is you can certainly still rent another of the units as my partners mum also one one in the same complex "the Aussie resort" ask for leannes unit and tell them your good friend of mine u will only pay 75 per night! That unit is also nicely renovated like mine and walk straight across to the beach! Alternitivly I can ring n book if u give me details full name dates Etc hope this helps?
The mercure at port macquirie is verynice n reasonable not sure if they are self contained but another where I'll stay is Northpoint apartments they r about 200 nght for 2 bedroom and 4.5 stars!!

Hi Bek, sounds great, you make it so easy.  I'll take you up on your offer to rent your partner's mum's place.  So the dates I'm interested in  are March 4-18.  $75 a night sounds great, does that come with a training partner too?   

Thanks for the tips on places in Port Macquarie but I'm not a 4.5 stars type of guy, looks like you travel like Belinda Granger.  I'm somewhere in between you (4.5 stars) and Doc (sleeping in a car).  Thanks so much for your help, this is a once in a lifetime trip for this yankee.  I can't believe I'm going to live life as a pro triathlete for 3 months, thank goodness for sabbaticals!  You're a rock star!

But seriously that place I told u is very reasonable .,but I suggest u book early ad they tripple their prices for ironman!maybe the caravan park?
