Hi Bella, just been catching up with your blog & had no idea you had such a tough December. Sorry to have read of the operation. It's great you've made such a recovery and I do hope the training goes well from here. It may be too soon to know but I guess it's possible your enforced break could help you come back even stronger for this season. Let's hope so. Delighted you finished top of the Ironman rankings and that just shows your workrate and consistency. May I ask what your 1st outing in 2010 is likely to be & what you have planned this year : I guess you are very very very focused on Lanzarote ? But what about IM SA ?  Also any goss on Rachel Joyce - I think she had an amazing debut year and you'll know better than me how she pulled second place in Lanzarote last year - there's quite a ladies "brit-pack" out there with Cat Morrison as well as Chrissie. Is there much exchange between the 4 of you or does the "TeamBB"-thing keep you very much focused within your own training group ?

Take care Bella and keep well ...

Hi John

Long time no speak!  ThankYou for looking me up and reading my blogs!
I am doing fine now.  December was an inconvenience, but it had to be done.  and much better to be treated then than have problems in the years to come.  The results I am getting back from the doctors say I am ok, so I am not too worried now.
Because of that small setback in December I will start my races a bit later this year, I will start in South Africa and then head my favorite island of Lanzarote!
It will be another action packed 2010!
As for the other Brit girls, yes, they seem to be a strong bunch!  But I know nothing of what they are up too.  I just worry about me!  Grin

How are you?

bella ,
just told the world her secret ,
she looks after bella , and doesnt give a fig about what the other brits do , or not doing .
maybe that is why ,  the girl from aberdeen in scotland  has won more ironman races than any other racing to day .
she just gets about her business .
