What do you guys do before Long Intercontinetal flights:

-Kill yourself in training before getting into the plane, with a 3h run or something like that as you will be "resting" long enough to recover

-Or Light Training before and after the trip, considering the non sleep, different time zones and poor nutrition are already going to tire your body enough

Thanks,
Vinnie

I think it is probably best not to overdo the training too much, as it can be easy to catch a cold or something similar if you have stressed your body alot!

Try to move about alot during the flight, and definately wear the flight socks Smiley

Hey Vinnie

I prefer light training before and after the journey as well, travelling is much more exhausting as I thought in the beginning.
have a good flight

Hi Vinnie

Like Stephen and Nicola have said, travelling is very tiring on the body, without you really realising.  ..till you catch a cold in the new destination.
So, really dont stress the body the day or 2 before a long haul flight.  And for the 2 days you are in your new destination, ..light training is best.

Drink plenty of water and keep moving about on the flight.  Take some healthy snacks so you dont feel the desperate need to eat the airlines bad snacks.

When you are in the new time zone, best to just put your watch at the new time and forget about the old time!
You might go throo some tired patches but its much better to get straight into the new time zone.
