Amy & Brandon -- Congratulations on your first international Ironman! Another win for Amy and Top 10 again for Brandon... you guys rock. Very impressive! Last we read from you Amy was that you were off to get some hot chocolate -- then you go win ANOTHER Ironman. Maybe that's the secret?! Safe travels back home. Look forward to seeing you in Austin for Cap-Tex training. Lisa & Adrianna

It was very exciting to follow the race and read in hoe well both of you were doing. Congratulations in another great win. I posting the last two updates.

After going head-to-head with Maki Nishiuchi in the first half of the bike, Marsh pulled away and led all the way from there, running away with it with a healthy lead over ten minutes on a tough course in tough conditions. (Swim: 0:55:17, Bike: 5:10:26 & Run: 3:42:43)
09:34 Marsh pushes ahead at 35km Amy Marsh has pushed ahead in the last 5km and extended her lead out to 16:35 over Nicole Leder. Heidi Jesberger is in third place, 19:01 behind Marsh - who is expected home in the next ten minutes.

Thank you everyone. Those were some of the toughest race conditions I have ever competed in. Please with how everything is coming along.

I finally found your blog. Terrific write up on the 1st Iron Man and so glad you were able to overhaul the field in the bike. Probably would have been a mistake to catch Brandon!
Cheers, Stan Douglas
