Hi Keegan,
Enjoyed the Wanaka video - I'm currently planning a bike tour of the South Island for next Jan/Feb with a friend and will certainly swing past the town, so it was quite nice to see a bit of the geography.
Wanted to bike from the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South really, but there won't be quite enough time to do that, so it'll just be the South Island.
If there is anywhere that you think we shouldn't miss on our tour then please let us know....it'd be much appreciated.

Also entered in Challenge Copenhagen too, but not been able to run all year owing to a very slow healing torn soleus    Angry   .....things are getting better now though, so I may yet see you on the start line.

Cheers   Smiley

ok, thats a bit of a hard question, there is so much to see and do  Smiley

If you are into adventure type stuff, Queenstown is a definite, lots of bungey jumping, white water rafting, jet boating etc to do

Christchurch and Dunedin are my faviourite cities, I havent been to Invercargill, but they do have a indoor timber velodrome and the people from down there are very friendly

There is also plenty of national parks if you want to do some walking, all with great scenry and facilties, ie milford sound, frans joesph, see photos below

A very nice ride would be from Christchurch, down past lake Tekapo and through to Wanaka. Would take a few days but is very senic. Most people tend to go down the east side and then come back up the west coast, the west coast is wild and rugged with not so many people

Still got plenty of time to get fit for Copenhagen, see ya there

Thanks Keegan that is great.....it has just occurred to me that if I could talk my mate into going to NZ a week earlier then I could fit in the Wanaka race too which would be wicked!

Better get those negotiation skills up to speed.....cheers!
