Hey Bella
Wishing you and Stephen loads and loads and loads of luck for the race.
I am sure you will both do great and hopefully you will both have your picture in the sports bar as being IM Lanza winners 2010!!

Hi Bella (and Bella's fella),
really wishing you both all the very best for IM Lanza. Bella - I was following you through IMSA and just thought the tracking results screen had refused to update. So sorry that went askew for you. But as you say it just makes you stronger and it's been a very different start to your season this year. I don't know if it's possible at your level to just go out and have fun, to de-pressure yourself, to just feel how great it is to have that fitness and to just enjoy "living the dream" ... is it possible just to do that ? You have won this race several times and have nothing to prove - so don't feel any extra pressure this is a very extra-ordinary year (perhaps) Bella & Stephen what you do 9-5:24/7 is inspiring regardless so choose the time to strike. If in 2010 it so happens the UK is your time to peak and dominate the dojo (yes.. I've heard you on IM Talk) then do what's right for you. Whatever - just keep safe and get stronger - you will prevail !
Bella can I ask why are you so drawn to this race - the hills and wind suggest it's a tough course - is that what draws you ? It certainly sounds like it's going to be harder to draft so do you think that gives you an advantage ? But compared to Wisconsin or St George - why this one so much ? I'd guess it's popular for UK triathletes.
Love your training day idea - have placed a bid & moved the total along a little and it's so good to see someone giving back to the sport. Take care, fuel that tank, be sensible, train smart and all here in deepest Argyll are rooting for you both.

Something tells me it is not about proving anything to anyone but themselves. And yes, you've both still got it.
Have fun!!

are damien c
you get the team bayliss .
they help where ever they can , but when it comes to their motivation , they concentrate on keeping away from the tri hype .
they get on with their business , and are not influenced by any body else .
even with in the team ,
that is why they bounce back from adversity , while other pros just flame out .
they regroup and keep their eyes back on the ball .
