Ha, ha, it does look rather  like a  "take that..... " kind of moment.
 I can't really explain that one, but am pretty sure it is just a joke from the photographer, and there are a million photos right before and after that one which are a lot more smiley.
 Or maybe I am trying to scare off future competition.  Wink

Looking over the mens race I realised that Rei is no longer a TTB racer. When did this happen? I missed this. Also am wondering if Doc ever coached the winner Luke McKenzie? He is an amazing aussie whom seems to have come from no where in the last 2 years? Was he one of yours in Australia? GS x

since he has been coming to the states/north co san diego since the early 2000's.

no and no rei is now based in brasil full time, and as brasil gained the olympic games for rio
so the political agenda has now changed rei was offered a great contract to lead the charge for 2016
we did not want to stand in his way.

no i have not trained luke, at any time.
he has done great job .
