Oh thanks guys and sorry....indeed there was some mistake from my side. I caught her 5 kms to go and should have to solve the problem earlier  Roll Eyes The problem was we were quite egal in power at that time so some surge did not help. Unfortunately the spectator friendly finish arena included few 90 degress corner plus an aid station with 3000 age grouppers racing on the course...organisers tried to clean up the narrow path only causing panic, people who were running in different pace but one direction got unpredictable and jumping side ways...
on the last 50 meters included two of those corners. I took the first first, only overdid it passing by some people in the inner side and end up the wrong side of the chanelling barrier, I went into 2nd lap instead of the finishing chute....when I corrected my way jumping throught some guys and a sponsor flag I lost my little advantage and pulled my leg so the last corner what you can see on the pic was about stumbling and she just came behinde in the right angle and that was all..... Sad
I was so dissapointed. I just dropped my little basket full of hard earned cherries.
Oh, well, it was a good race some lesson earned, seems my work is paying off.

The aid station pic was made 600 meters to go when she reached the cup I sprinted out, pity I did not see how she immediatley dropped the cup and spat out the water and jumped on my heel  Wink

next time.... Kiss

So excited to hear about your race, and see the cool action shots. I know now you will be an absolute maniac if anyone is even close to you near the finish in the future. I pity anyone who even tries to steal you basket of cherries again.  Smiley
 Miss ya Coco.

Absolute TMac! Any cherry or watermelon thiefts should have be punished!  Angry  Grin
Now I am eating my cherries from the ground. My Mom taught me that anything dropped but picked up in 5 sec is not counts as a dropp, so could be eaten!  Shocked (so 0.2 sec is absolute legal!)

Any Brazilian souvenirs beside the Champion Title?  Huh
