Hi all,
just heading home having watched Bella win IMUK 70.3. I'll leave her to give you the details - it was a cracking race and she was unbelievably impressive. Tamsyn had a great bike and was 2nd.
Stephen was a solid 6th - the mend race was also close. A very good day in the English sunshine!

Hi everybody!
Thankyou Emma for updating the world on our results. It is a beautiful part of the world at Wimbleball, but very difficult to update the world when you are in a "black hole"! There is absolutely no internet of mobile phone reception there!
I was very very happy to win this race! I dont feel I am at my full strength and I have had sore legs recently, but with coachs help, we have managed it to a reasonable level. Last week I was'nt to be racing 70.3 UK, but with a couple of days to go, we decided to go for it, ..and it turned out good!!
It is not easy to win races. You can see that when you have some problems, so this felt EXTRA special.
Will do a blog when we stop tonight (travelling right now)thanks for your support everybody!
Bella

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the congrats, muchos appreciados. Having never raced a half IronMan before this was all new for me... and boy are there a lot of lessons to be learnt! I kept thinking on the bike... that i'd never run more than 10K off a bike before... how was 21K with 900m of climbing gonna feel? So I kept it steady.. and was enjoying every minute of it until my chain came off up a steep hill and somehow manage to tangle itself. I hope the TV footage, edit out my profuse swearing!
Wont bore you with more details now as i'll write up in my blog when I get chance.. It was great to race with Bella and it just goes to show what a true professional she is... digging deep when the going gets tough.
