Things the ladies will have to put up with though:

- Debates about how to get the best shave. On your legs.
- Constant discussion about this week's injury/niggle/pain.
- Always being asleep and unable to go out.
- Being the last to leave the post-race party because "I never get to party".
- Wetsuits hanging from the shower curtain rod.  Also training and racing kit.
- The smell of chlorine.
- Bike grease in the shower (as per Wongstar's bike washing instructions).
- OCD over the bike position, swim stroke, running mechanics, etc, etc, etc.
- Diet.
- Spending more time asleep than awake.
- Pure coincidence that he has a big/long/tough session planned when you suggest doing something together.  Includes, but not limited to: shopping, visiting in-laws, etc.

Damien I must say I dont entirely agree generalisations yes some are certainly true but if we look at Scottie D(Robin) I can tell you he is NO bore,either is James(Batman).I am being totally honest :

'Shaving'..They dont ever talk about shaving..unless Scott needs a shave , then he tell us all!
'Niggles..injuries'...They never moan about niggles or injuries as they dont seem to ever have any...(I think thats more an age group moaning!)
'Always being asleep'..they both love to take midday knapps wheather its intentional or not they both seem to fall asleep on the couch btwn sessions!Going out..Scottie manages to go out at least twice a week James maybe once but yes they are always in bed by midnight , not 830pm though!
'Being the last to leave the post race party'... for SURE i can gurantee this would most likely be!
'Wetsuits hanging'... outside on clothes line but not often as we dont waste time doing ópen water!
'The smell of chlorine'...DEFINATELY
'Bike grease in the shower'...not really Scottie doesnt clean his bike and James is a perfectionist so would likely to keep his hand sparkling clean when possible!
'OCD over the bike position, swim stroke etc' ...well not really as the listen to Doc and do what he says never really questioning it.And with Scotties swim stroke there is no technique its just arm- wack- strectch out- pull!!Both of their running techniques are pretty decent not alot to be done there!
'Diet'..NEVER EVER do they watch what they eat...bagels with cream cheese,or egg for breaky,then hot dogs for lunch maybe some Macdonalds...when u r traiing 8 hours a day you can eat what ever you want!
Spending more time asleep than awake...quite often YES!
'Shop'ping and visting inlaws etç'..Scottie doesnt need to as basically his whole family live in the beach house with us from Thursday to Monday..but they def both not keen on shoppinG!

Yes in general triathletes are boring to date ..but these two ..well (Scottie inparticular) are exceptions...trust me I have lived with them for afew onths now!

Yes I have to admit I am VERY protective of my boys, I cant have anyone leading them astray, or leading us astray!
I was thinking of writing a description of what they both look for in a girl...but I think it would be better if a female wrote in and requested this...So I wait for theat post!

I have been subjected to several earfuls of love advice myself from the doc, his favorite strategy is to trap you in the car going for a drive somewhere, then you can't escape!

i got the boys very focussed , and my advise is badsed of a lot of experience in stuffing up
over a lot of years
