Hi Jocelyn!

Just wanted to say that I came across your blog and have found it to be entertaining and inspiring!  Really enjoy reading about your journey to becoming pro, and impressed by your dedication - keep on smashing it!  Figured I had to give a shout out to my Asian people...I am Korean (adopted, so totally Americanized=twinkie), and just started triathlon last year.  Keep up the great posts and best of luck @ IM Wisconsin!  Maybe one day I'll see you @ an IM event, you'll probably blow by me as I plod along in the AG ranks!

Twinkies of the world unite!    Thank you so much for your message.  There weren't any Asian-American pros when I first got in the sport so I do what I can to represent us twinkies.  Even though calling myself "Asian Triathlon Superstar" is a complete marketing ploy (which WORKS!!!) I don't ever get tired of other Asians coming up to me at races and other functions and telling me how cool it is to see an Asian pro triathlete.
