Looks like we've got a new wise-crack, wit of a writer to replace Ms. Coco (if indeed Ms. Coco slows down from writing on here).  Race report was a good and funny read Ms. Swallow, you're gonna give Matt, Ms. Coco, and Hiro some friendly competition.

Nicely written Jodie, and I agree that James has you to thank for his much improved swim.  Grin

I thought it was just me that was suffering out there on the bike, eventhough I got off feeling quite good, it was still slow.  So thank you for confirming that it wasn't just me!  Cool

And don't be so modest about your run, you were the equal of Marie and only a few seconds off having the fastest run out there.  Hope the foot comes good soon.  Smiley

its a step foreward
but no where near nearly there
so lets say moving in the right direction
but i would suggest beach start and the james i know would have made every post a winner there .
lets see how he goes off the pontoon or open water start before we get carried away ,
meanwhile james keep swimmin as your life depends on it each time you go to the pool
because
your career does depend on it .

Doc, I think their misery is just because they have to get up at 4:30 in the morning for swim training.  But since they'll probably be well used to it by the time March rolls around, you could always keep it there...  Grin

That would explain why they weren't in the pool this morning.  Wink Wish I could sleep in...  Cry

Sorry if I dropped you two in the dwang, but now at least you get to have a more relaxed start to your day.  Cool

hi
damien  , sorry   but once coach seen 4.30 starts to the day
he had to can it , as poor james needs a sleep after his swim
in an ironman there is not sleep after a swim  may be this is why he was asleep on the bike for the first 2 hrs in 70.3
but  i had a rulle when swim coach i never started my groups before 6 am no matter what time they got out .
as it promoted excessive tiredness some where else in the week
so coach  shut it down  , he will be back there when swim camp starts again but for now we are training to have a crack at im sa

Ha... the Saffers love an early start.... 4am group rides during the week, and 6am bike starts at a weekend...  then complain how cold it is for cycling in winter, despite always being nice and warm during the day.
