Hi Stephen

Chuffed to see that you'll be doing Challenge Henley this year!  Cool

I've also entered (it's going to be my first iron-distance event! Shocked) and it'll be great to see you out on the course.

Good luck for the race and the rest of your 2011 season.

Hi Bam,

Stephen here.  I am unable to log on for some reason(something to do with my cookies Huh)

Thanks for your message.  Yes I am really looking forward to Challenge Henley.  Swim in the Thames,  then the bike ride in the Chilterns should be a really nice course.  The run route sounds really nice too, around Henley.

The Challenge organisation always put on good races.  I'm sure it will be a great experience for your first Iron Distance race.

Good luck with your training,  you have plenty of time till the race,  so build up gradually

All the best with your season too.

Just out of curiosity, any strange cravings yet?

Hi Damien!

cant report any crazy cravings yet!  although for a while, sometimes I really wanted tomatoes, sometimes apples, sometimes eggs.
I suppose the biggest thing was, I stopped wanting coffee, wine and chewing gum!

I am quite fussy what I do and dont want though, each time I eat, I know what I want, ..a bit like when your training hard.

I also feel hungry a lot!  A bit like 2 days after a really hard race!

Wait, they'll come.  Grin  With my wife, it was condensed milk and chocolate biscuits.  Thankfully, it wasn't as bad as my Mom when she was pregnant with me.  She used to send my poor Dad out at 10pm to find her green apples and Bar-One chocolates!  Shocked
