Did a marathon on 27th of November (3:10 which is ok for me, went as planned) and had an operation on 29th (teeth, not connected with the run). My (forced) break will probably last another week (still taking pain killers and get sutures removed tomorrow).

Any tips on how to get going again? How long does it take, to be in some kind of shape (3.10 is "in shape" for me, i am no professional) again? Any tips to speed up the process?

Hey adal to get going again.
I suggest you focus on EZ frequent runs of short duration.
So you dont over stress your body will building up the volume again.

As your body adapts you can cut out a few sessions.
Then gradually build up your longer runs and sprinkle-in intensity!
Before finally getting back to your previous program.

How fast you get back to old form depends on several things.
Such as how long you been running and your age!

You can be sure that some athletes have come back stronger after a break like this!
While others injure themselves by going to fast or to long to soon...
