Ali, great to read your intro on the front page today. I know you will inspire  many people in The Philippines and beyond proving that some of challenges you faced these past years have become the fuel for you to never give up on your dreams and your vision.

I truly hope you and Brett will be able to create some fun, channel the passion and excitement into your training as then it's only a matter of time before that IM Champion status will be at the bottom of every email you send out  ;-)

Looking forward to see you, Xena, David and Matt in the Philippines on 13th April for a short training camp, photo shoot and then Press Launch of Alaska teamTBB Philippines on the 18th April. Exciting stuff for us all, and I'm just very stoked you are finally with us, as your patience and determination have inspired me!

so it was Singapore you think?  which race would that have been after? 

We wont be coming to Australia to train, we are training in Gran Canaria, Spain, it really has everything we need for training and it is only 4 hours away from Europe, ...unlike Australia!!!

I just saw this thread that Bella started and then read your article.  It didn't click when I saw that you first joined the team, but then seeing Bella's post it hit me.  I sat next to Stu this year when we left Kona on the short flight from Kona to Honolulu.  It was great to be able to hear some of his stories on the short flight.  It really is a small world, anyways best of luck in '12 and beyond, and tell Stu that I said hi (I am not sure if he will remember me or not).  Hopefully see you guys at a race this year!
