I've know Brett since 1992 when he brought a group over from France to one of our races, Ironbridge I think. His squads have changed over the years, the common trait being that all his people have been triathlon's over achievers.

That doesn't typecast them, they've ranged from the bland to someone I thought was as nutty as a fruitcake - or as Brett said "He's  as mad as a cut snake".

So Chrissie leaving was nothing new. Only Brett knows if the timing was right in her case . . . . . .

ps we could start a new thread on Suttoisms, "He's  as mad as a cut snake" being one and another I liked "She's as tough as old goat's knees". Ha!

My wife ordered a copy and it arrived in the mail today.

I opened the package and saw Foreward by Lance Armstrong.

I don't think I'll bother reading it now.

Well, you can always get the UK edition, no Foreword by Lance there (but there is one by Chrissie  Grin)

I think I'll just cut out the Lance foreward pages and throw away the jacket.

I can understand trying to cash in on Lance's name in the North American market, but a staunch anti-doper like Chrissie should be ashamed of using that association. The slippery slope when one chooses money over ethics...
