For the last few weeks I've had a pain in my left bicep when doing a "curl" or twisting motion or when there's something resting against it (usually a babies head). This has been annoying but hasn't affected swimming so I've been waiting for it to go away of its own accord.

Last night I was woken by a pain in the right shoulder (sharp stabbing pain) and its now a royal PITA - whilst always focused on the right shoulder it is also occasionally giving a pain at the front of the right shoulder and across the whole top of my back.

There's no pain in the neck area.

This did prevent me from swimming, whilst no debilitating it wasn't exactly comfortable either so I bailed after 500m.

So should I give it a couple of days to see if it buggers off by itself, phone the Docs for an appointment, get a massage or some pins?

Cheers

Start with a massage and go from there.
