Racing in the heat

Does anyone have any good tips or strategies to race in the heat?

Hey jefft01 heres a few:

-Cover up as much skin as possible
-Dont wear sun-screen (it blocks pores)
-Start slower than you usually do
-Only drink water to cool your head, wash down food or clean your hands
-Dont shave the day before the race (it removes a bit of skin and make it easier to burn)
-No aero-helmet
