Living in Boulder isn't all bad, I have learned one or two things over the years (and seen alot of what not to do too).
The Japanese marathoners that migrate to town every year for example heed Doc's advice to the letter.  When injured, you can see them in the mountains walking all day long. If they can't run, then they walk all day long.  While this is extreme and triathletes can swim/bike so we probably don't need to walk 8 hours a day.  In addition, even when not injured, these runners as well as many of the African runners don't have any ego and are willing to take their easy runs ridiculously easy but when they run fast you better watch out.  It is interesting to see world class runners from around the world following Doc's clues.
