Hi Doc,

I am thinking you would know what to do.

I have most of all the symptoms of low Testosterone and have the blood test prove it. The results are Free T 8.2 (range of 6.8-21.5) and T Serum 491 (348-1197).  the worst for me is the lack of motivation and concentration/ADD and consistent training and recovery.  pulled out of IM TX as well.

my dr gave a me a script for injection of T cypionate, but rather not go that way.

your thoughts?
thanks Doc!

unfortuneately , doc may know best ,
this mixed with a lot of rest no hr stuff and short sessions
will help you bounce back much quicker than trying to train thru it
I've seen some sprint swimmers results and it took 6 weeks to back to their normal levels
I've seen others make gains in 2 weeks of basically no training and rest , nothing strenuous .
sorry there is not more i can add

If you can, start supplementing iron in on a daily basis. Endurance training kills T for everyone. Some more than others. But your hemoglobin is probably shot. A bit of rest and low hr work (strength) combined with more iron will get hemoglobin levels back up which should reduce fatigue symptoms and keep you training. Ginkgo is also good for the mind. Good luck bro!

Sugar, do you have the readings for your epitestosterone?  Or even your testosterone:epitestosterone ratio?

A low testosterone reading isn't really uncommon, that is why they give a range reading.  What is more important is how your testosterone relates to your epitestosterone.  That is why WADA test that ratio, as you can be abusing, but still have a reading that is within range.
