Marketing use to tell us that aero equipment is always the best for every triathlete, reducing drag, save watts, save a lot of time on the big leg etc etc etc....
i don't want to pay attention to marketing . I prefer a pragmatic approach.  Wink
Just have the choice between mavic cosmic carbone sl (1.850 kg but aero) and shimano dura ace c24 (1.3kg), for the Triathlon des Lacs in Troyes, 83 kms for the bike (75% flat), considering my level allow me an average speed of 33 kmh...
So Cosmic carbone sl, advantage or not ?
thanks

Hey lévrier the tangible differences between those 2 wheel sets is negligible.
Considering at the speed you plan to ride, or should I say lack of speed.
The bearing quality should be what your thinking of.

Im gonna assume the shimano's are your training wheels?

Theres not really a "bad" choice between the two.
Simply which ones gives you the most confidence in transition surrounded by "super" equipment Wink

Hey Levrier
I won IM switzerland twice on a pair of Mavis cxp 33's. Bella has won many IM's on her training wheels. So yes, best not to over think and just get out there and ride HARD!!!
