First, it was the first time I followed almost a complete IM in internet. I been in the sport more or less since 1986! I've met Dave, Scott (T) and Mark Allen (in Sweden), Sara (from GBR
) been even in the same race as Mark, Jürgen (Zäck) or Stadler, - even not so close to their positions
. BUT what I saw last weekend life from Kona, I still get sweaty hands, neck hair rising! This was just .... frankly, I have no words! I think in 10,20 years I will tell buddies, "hey, I have seen it! Live, when they did it .... "
6 IM done myself I know what you achieved, achieved for the sport that weekend. I had never ever heard about your team, (should I ? ) but you put a finger print for good, which shaked me, and for sure not only me! Hey folks, lets just go out there and train and race, its so fantastic, and there are role models like you girls of teamtbb, which I really admire, get inspired - what will now happen in Asia? I guess we cannot imaging!
With the first 5 rules of Triathlon pint on the wall close to my working desk I look forward to follow your conquering travel throuout the world, which you all the very best! If you just could learn some small secrets how you trained and prepared for the race ...
