today was a happy day , people often , hope to do something , whether it is a sportsman  or acedemic ,but most experienced teachers know , when a student , is only wishing , not really believing ,
well , today , was a big turning point for our apprentice and our  team massuer .
she has been here , she has been training , and has participated inher first race and did a good job , but i was never convinced , that her goal of completing an ironman  in her 18th yr , was what she wanted .
she talked the talk , but the coach and the pupil had , a pretty hard talk , that all of you have had at sometime , with the boss .
i asked her the  hard questions , and she didnt give me any answers  verbally at all ,just  walked off and went to bed .
next morning ,  bike was gone , and so was holly , so i took  the swim set , and drove the car , on a hunch to the run track , i know her breeding .
aand there , with no team mates , no boosters , but  our 5 furry friends lying on the track to see her ,
with water bottles spread out , and round and round she was going, with a look in the eye , that said
i can do this ,
guys
a ride over to the track and holly whacked out  30 x 800  just like "all the ironman do "then ride home
did the boss  get his answers .?
in the best  possible way , a future ironman  can answer ,
deeds  people deeds ,
you would all be so proud of her .
just thought  you  would like to know ,
we got a real one here .
how does ordinary , become  extraodinary?
for me it always been not about adding talent  but adding the extra!
well done holly   well done

Good on you, Holly!
You're a tough, tough, tough girl to do that.

Stephen and I were in a taxi on the way back from the Airport, and saw Holly riding along towards home, with a rucksack on her back.  I said to Stephen "Holly looks good"  not knowing she had been at the track!

But then we heard that was her on her way home after a BIG track session!
on her own!

Really impressive Holly.
Doing things like that, makes you a Chmapion.
