HOORAY ERIKA!!!  when I left for my bike ride you had gotten in the top 3 on the bike.  when I came back you had won!  it must be the hot pink race suit!  good thing I have one too, I practiced in it today and was sending you some good thoughts.

congratulations!  that was quite a fat goose field.   Cheesy

Hi Erika,

One of the biggest women fields out there today other than the 70.3 World Champs, and the way you dominated this race is awesome!

CONGRATULATIONS!!

You could not have given me a nicer 40th birthday present... Wink

Check out some great write ups on your win of today in the USA press:

Jay Prasuhn's (Triathlete Magazine editor): http://jayprasuhn.blogspot.com/2008/03/teamtbbs-for-real.html

Great stuff Erika, amazing start of your season and what a way to open at teamTBB!!

way to go, girl!!!!! you did us very proud! we were all thinking of you, and of course the first thing i did at 5am this morning when i woke up to run was to check on your results. then i went out on the road for the run spread the news to everyone i ran into who hadn't been online yet. i think you made everyone's morning/long run. we were all smiling for you!

looking forward to seeing you again soon!  Smiley Smiley

Thank you so much guys and girls!
I did for you guys!!! This is my way to say thanks for all the hard training and help with everything.
I try to put up a quick blog about the race soon, but I think Jay wrote a very nice race report.
Donna, thanks for that 1 vote on the "pre-race winner" guessing! You were the closest person who knew about my fitness...You won the guessing game.
Next weekend Chrissie's turn!
Keep up with the training, specially those hill repeats, they did wonders to my bike legs!
Take care and be good, Erika

i think with a name like that you should be in the next bond movie ,
and with the new found bike legs ,
wear the pink suit as well .
lots of little things to loosen up
very proud of you ,
and was very proud of the reaction here ,
plenty of erika boosters here , before the race , not just after .

Probably I could fit all my life philosophy into these four words: "Miss(ing), Coco, God, Speed"-not exactly in this order....
Miss(ing) God-coco-speed would fit better?
Still, I would stick to my Red Bull aero, coconut shell has no USAT certificate.
I simply have no time for blog, too busy with reacting for messages...nice job for a boring, recovery sunday!
