Hi all- just thought I would send you a brief report on today's racing. Well let me start by saying never in my 18 odd years of triathlon have I had to fight to the absolute death like I did today. I have never had a full-on sprint finish in my career (Subic Points race was my closest) but I sure made up for that today!! Today it came down to the last 100m and seriously I almost didn't think I was going to be able to do it- but never have I wanted a win so bad and that was the difference in the end. I won today by mere seconds and also for the first time in my career I collapsed on the finsh line.
I will get a proper race report up in the next day or so but just thought I would fill you in.
I was first, Lucie Z..... was 2nd and Nina Eggert 3rd. In the men's race Chabaud crushed them, Rutger Beke 2nd, Patrick Bringer 3rd but..... the exciting news- Luke was 5th against a stellar field- great to see him back racing so well and it shows on his face. Jusi was in the mix but struggled the 2nd half of the run so isn't feeling too hot right now.
See you all soon

congratulations BELINDA!

I got really confused  Huh  at first as you are signed in as Justin, and I was wondering why he was racing against women...like maybe it was like the Lifetime Fitness race where they pit the guys against the girls?  hahaha

Great Job Belinda! Until now it was you being afraid I am changing to long course, now it's me fearing you are changing to short course, haha Wink hope you recover well from your collapsing and see you soon in Leysin for some sprint session (just so that I get better, you are already winning all your sprints...)

Hi Belinda,

It seems life is demanding great speed from you. I am wondering what will happen in Roth with so many crazy girls on the back of each-other.....I would love to make a sprint finish against you in Roth for the winning!!!
Congrats for you and the boys as well! happy for Luke!

yeah , i bet belinda is saying  yeah me tooo         noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot Shocked
she will be hoping you ride , like you did last weekend ,
so she can shake hands at the finnish line in roth .
hand you  your medal .
cause ,
thats the first lesson you learn here i nthis camp ,
you go home , and back off ,
you get eaten .
i am on my way back tomorrow on the hungarian airline wizz air
i am liking things more hungarian these days .
but i like my hungarian athlete , more hungry ,
you want to podium in hawaii , in 2 seasons ,
there are no more breaks
we have too much to do and too little time to do it.
