Its so good to get good news about you and your success. I can't tell you how many times I have checked the Manna Bakery web site hoping to get updates. Finally I now know where to look.

Best of luck on Saturday. All the tri geeks here in St. John's were already going to be glued to Ironmanlive, but now we have a real excuse.

And keep your blog updated so we can check out whats happening.

Hey Jim!

Thanks for the good luck wishes - from one island to another. Wink I'm really excited to get out there tomorrow and give it my best. It's been an amazing year so far filled with experiences I could never have dreamed of.

Thanks for your support, and I will definitely have a blog posted after the race. Hope to see you next time I'm back on the Rock!

Hi Stefan,

Nice to hear from you. Yes, it was a hot and windy day out there, but it was an amazing experience - unlike any other ironman I've done. So many people, so much crowd support and 1500 people riding through the lava fields. It was a great experience for the next time I come back.
Recovery started today with a sleep-in, pancakes and coffee, and a little swim in the ocean with the fishes. Wink I'll have a blog up soon with more about the race.

Take care,
Donna

Congrats Donna. I took this pic just before you turned right at the bottom of Hualalai Road onto Alii for the run on in to the finish.

You earned your pancakes  Smiley
