Kona Age Group Athletes, teamTBB Coaching

teamTBB launched our online coaching program just over a year ago. Since that time we have grown by 1s and 2s. Our coaching staff is made up primarily of athletes who have worked with Brett Sutton, the teamTBB head coach, or coaches who have come to one of our teamTBB Professional training camps and seen firsthand and worked 'on deck' with Brett. As a result, all of our coaches know the ropes when it comes to the teamTBB way of coaching. Our coaching website is http://www.teamTBBcoaching.com. We currently have three levels of coaching available for athletes, and are working to provide more benefits to our online coached athletes.

It has been a successful first year for teamTBB Coaching. We had several athletes qualify for the 70.3 World Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada. With the Ironman World Championships right around the corner, we thought it would be great to highlight our age group Kona Qualifiers. They are all listed with their coach. You can also find some more in depth race reports on the homepage of our teamTBB coaching website.

Matt O'Halloran:
- Joey Lynn Musselman, Philippines
- Noy Jopson, Philippines
Note about Matt and his athletes. Matt is our Canadian coach, but spends a lot of time in the Philippines. So, he has become pretty well known there and has had great success with his athletes. You can find many of Matt's articles on our teamTBB coaching homepage.

Rebecca Preston:
- Michelle Barnes, Canada. Michelle has had a busy year with not just an Ironman, but also a wedding, a honeymoon, and other races.

Bella Bayliss:
- Laura Underhill, Canada.

Stephen Bayliss:
- Paul Hawkins, UK (not attending due to financial reasons)

Scott Defilippis:
- Brad Williams, USAF stationed in Korea. Brad has been a great athlete for teamTBB. He is stationed in Asia, so he gets to race many of the races that US folks typically do not race.
- Jill Fry, USA. Jill has battled some sciatica and upper hamstring pain in the past. With some of the teamTBB 'treatment', she was able to race IM St. George and qualify for Kona.

Brandon Marsh:
- David Zucker, USA. David has also had a busy year. He has recently accepted a new job, and now instead of splitting time between Austin, TX and New York, NY...he splits his time between Boca Raton, FL and Austin, TX.

Rebekah Keat:
- Brett Carter. Brett Carter came to Rebekah for coaching a few months ago after he qualified for Hawaii in his first ever, yes first ever, Ironman finishing in 9 hrs20! Brett actually swam as a kid with our very own Brett sutton and Brett remembered him as the little bulldog he still is today! Built for the sport of endurance like a 'bulldog' and a never say attitude to go with it Brett will without a doubt break the 930 mark in Hawaii on Sunday!
