There's nothing like a good test session close to your "A" race to give you a good feeling. For TeamTBB short course gunner Mariana Ohata, that good feeling could be a harbinger. Especially what that "A" race in the Beijing Olympic Games.
Ohata passed American Sarah Groff in the final kilometers of the 10k run to take the final medal of the day at the Tiszaujvaros ITU World Cup in Hungary on Sunday, taking a solid third in 2:02:48. "Tiszaujvaros is my town," Ohata told triathlon.org. "My second time here, and my second podium."
On the men's side, Reinaldo Collucci bagged a solid top-five placing, taking fifth in 1:52:29.
Congrats to TeamTBB's Brazilian short-course contingent. Keep that good feeling rollingÂ…right up through the Beijing Games.
