It is important to look back at teamTBB's amazing success over the past 8 years under the leadership of legendary coach Brett Sutton and his partner Alex Bok. The team amassed an untouchable record including 5 World Championship wins (ITU Long Distance 2007, 2010, 2012 IM Hawaii 2007 & 2008), 2nd place IM Hawaii 2010 & 2012, 46 Ironman wins,30 Ironman 70.3 wins, 15 Challenge wins, and 84 other International wins. In addition to this record of wins at the races, teamTBB has inspired hope and opportunity for young athletes around the globe through their support of social projects around the world. While nothing great lasts forever, we know that both teamTBB and our Doc, Brett Sutton, will continue to move forward.
Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them - that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like. -- Lao Tzu
As we start the process of developing teamTBB 2.0, we need to first thank Brett Sutton. Without his mentoring, teamTBB would not have been able to dominate long course triathlons. Brett is the best mind in the sport and to have him dedicate his career to our team has been invaluable. He built and nurtured each and every athlete that has been a part of teamTBB over the past 8 years. In addition, we would like to thank all the incredible sponsors both old and new who have helped the team continue to run and achieve such great success each and every season. Finally, we need to thank all the athletes and support staff that have been a big part of the team. Especially, teamTBB manager Alex Bok whose work and dedication has made it possible to teamTBB to be sustainable and successful over 8 years. He has worked tirelessly and kept the team going year after year. Without his commitment to teamTBB, we would not be launching teamTBB 2.0.
Please follow our announcements over the next month here as we reintroduce you to the great athletes and sponsors who are going to be a part of teamTBB 2.0.
